With a big hand and many thanks for the years of effort from the outgoing Board members, i.e. Don Hauke, Ed Arnold, Dick Kern and Charles Walsh.

January 13 - Capt. Mike Zgrabik will be our speaker. Capt. Zgrabik will discuss fishing for redfish and kayak fishing.

February 12 - 2nd Annual El-Cheapo Sheepo Tournament. Details and sign-up sheets will be available at the January 13 and February 10 meetings. Fishing will begin at 7:00am (no check-in required), with weigh-in beginning at 12:45pm, ending promptly at 1:15pm, at the cleaning station just behind the Waterside Grill at Gasparilla Marina. YES, WE HAVE T-SHIRTS! White, sand, grey and light blue shirts with colorful redfish, snook and tarpon on the back. For sale before and after the meetings - $13 ($14 for XXL).


The Englewood Fishing Club
can pat itself on the back - we donated a large amount of food to the Englewood Helping Hand before Christmas and Toys For Tots received over 90 toys. Good Work!

ENGLEWOOD HELPING HAND - The need continues - every can you bring to a meeting is welcome. They are also in need of paper goods (towels, tp, etc.) and personal items (toothpaste, deodorant, etc.) none of which are covered by food stamps.
